Mariely M. Olmedo is my name
No matter where we are in the world, they say we all carry a piece of our hometown with us, and in my case, this is particularly true.
With its picturesque plazas, breathtaking architecture, and rich cultural legacy, Guadalajara is a city that masterfully combines tradition and modernity. It provides a wealth of opportunities for people to make lifelong memories.

I was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
After completing my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Business in my hometown, I pursued my passion for creativity by studying Design and Art in Milan, and later earning a Master’s degree in London.
Colors have always captivated me. As a dancer in a traditional Mexican folklore company, I was surrounded by vibrant hues, exquisite patterns, and the cultural meaning they carried. Those early experiences shaped my love for design, which later came to life through my studies in Italy and England, blending heritage with contemporary artistry.
My upbringing instilled in me a genuine appreciation for Mexican folklore.
Including the value of handcrafted items created by incredibly talented artisans who preserve centuries of tradition and create genuinely beautiful things, as well as exquisite apparel adorned with vibrant colors and their meaning and authenticity.
Using my passion for color, art, and design along with my experience in business, I established Olmedo Design in the center of London, a city I've come to love and where I hope to bring the parts of Guadalajara and my homeland that I hold within.
